The McNutts have always had an artificial tree. We had a Christmas themed wedding and used a tree from our wedding in our home since that time. This year we were torn. Our original thought was no tree at all, between the curious little kittens and the two year old who gets into everything a tree with lots of little fragile ornaments sounded like a very bad idea. But poor little Molly really deserves a Christmas tree. So we decided on a tree with no ornaments, but a fake tree with no ornaments.... Okay we will get a real tree and it will have colored lights just like Molly wants but no ornaments. Here are a few pictures of us getting our very first real tree!
Molly and Margot at the tree lot. We decided against cutting down our own, a little much for the first year, maybe next year!

Glad to see your back to the land of blog, Anne! The real tree experience is so fun! I grew up in a fake tree family so Mike and I have always had a real one and we love going out and getting it every year. Stay healthy and have a merry Christmas with your family! xoxo
